P.E. Labellers considers the issue of sustainability a critical-issue topic and has been working on it for years.
In 2024 the company has published:
1. The Sustainability Report 2022
2. The Health and Safety Certification (ISO 45001)
3. The Code of Ethics, which must be followed by all employees and collaborators, suppliers.
For P.E., Sustainability consists of adopting practices that respect the environment, society, and the economy while ensuring business continuity. This approach can be summarized into three main pillars, reflecting the ESG factors – Environmental, Social, Governance:
- Environmental Sustainability (E)
This includes all practices aimed at reducing the company's environmental impact, such as the use of renewable energy and the reduction, reuse, and recycling of waste. - Social Sustainability (S)
This refers to the company's commitment to the well-being of employees, local communities, and society in general, ensuring safe and dignified working conditions, promoting diversity and inclusion, and ensuring transparency and ethics in relationships with suppliers and customers. - Economic Sustainability (G)
This involves ensuring the company's profitability and economic resilience in the long term, which can be achieved through innovation and continuous improvement, responsible management of financial resources, and the creation of long-term value for all stakeholders.
Adopting sustainable practices is essential for P.E. to address global challenges and requires a collective commitment to building a better future for all.
Since 2022, P.E. Labellers has been an Ambassador of the Ethical Charter of the Packaging Foundation, an association that promotes the values of sustainability and an ethical approach throughout the entire packaging supply chain.
